1. Is Unifylegal a law firm?  No, but we help you find and maximize your external lawyers the world over. 

2. Do I engage my lawyer directly?  Yes, when you accept a quote, you will also enter into standard engagement terms directly with your lawyer. 

3. Can I pay my lawyer directly?  Typically not, as the fee we make by facilitating your payment is how we earn our living and pay for this service. Any lawyer who accepts a payment outside of our site for services contracted through our site will no longer be allowed to use the site. Plus, it is just not a cool thing to do. 

4. When and how do I pay the lawyer?  You pay only after you are satisfied with the legal services you have received. You can pay by local bank transfer or by credit or debit card through the Unifylegal platform. 

5. Does Unifylegal guarantee the legal services I receive from a lawyer found through the site?  No, but we use reasonable efforts to ensure that lawyers who use this site are licensed and in good standing. In the end, the lawyer is responsible for his or her work. 

6. How much does it cost to use Unifylegal?  Our platform is free for the lawyer to use. We may charge the client a fee to facilitate their payment to the lawyer.
